Nominations are now open for Ealoor Harmony Night Awards 2026, a prestigious evening celebrating excellence among international nurses and students. The awards ceremony will take place on 7 February 2026 at the Wythenshawe Forum, Manchester, with nominations closing on 25 January 2026. Beyond the awards, the event will feature a vibrant Music and Food Extravaganza, bringing together culture, community, and celebration at a large-scale fundraising event in support of Stockport NHS Charity. We are honoured to welcome Nicola Firth, Chief Nurse of Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, as our special guest, alongside the MP for Stockport, Navendu Mishra, and our valued UK university partners, whose continued support plays a vital role in empowering international students and graduates.

Award Categories
Nursing Career Advancement Award
Description about the category:
This important award will recognise an individual that has made a significant contribution to their employer and Nursing community since moving to work in the UK. The award category will also focus on Ealoor Consultancy’s motto ‘Changing lives’. Therefore, this award recognises nurses who have relocated to the UK and demonstrated outstanding growth in their education, professional skills, and career development. Nominees are those who have overcome challenges, embraced new opportunities, and made significant contributions to their workplaces or the wider healthcare community. This award celebrates perseverance, dedication, and the drive to achieve excellence in nursing while inspiring others through their journey.
Eligibility Criteria:
Overseas Nurse Status – International Nurses holding either residential or non-residential status in the UK; British passport holders & Indefinite leave to remain are also eligible.
• Applicants must be overseas-trained nurses who have come to the UK to practice nursing.
• Specifically, this includes nurses who completed their initial nursing qualification outside the UK and are now working or studying in the UK.
NMC Registration
All nominees must hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Sector of Practice
Nominees can come from any nursing or healthcare sector, including but not limited to:
• NHS
• Private healthcare providers
• Community healthcare services
• Nursing or residential care homes
• Charities or voluntary organisations
• Government or arm’s-length organisations
Who Can Nominate
• Self-nominations are welcome.
• Nominations by others are also accepted from colleagues, supervisors, peers, or members of the community who wish to recognise an individual’s achievements and impact.
