The University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) is a renowned University. It is a Public University based in the city of Preston, Lancashire. The University of Central Lancashire has been at the forefront of delivering excellence and talent since 1828. It is one of the largest University in the United Kingdom, with a student and staff population of 38,000. It has over 400 undergraduate and over 200 post graduate for the students.
In 2010 the University became the first UK Modern Higher Education Institution to appear in the QS World University Rankings. In 2016 Centre for World University Rankings estimated Central Lancashire to be in the top 3.7 percent. UCLAN is the UK’s top university for incubating start-up businesses that are still thriving after three years of trading. In the last five years we have helped over 1,000 students or graduates start a business or become self-employed.
